Real tests. Real pets.
Every product reviewed on Lucy’s Barkery is tested on real dogs and cats — not based on press releases or brand samples. Lucy Hartwell has spent 12 years as a certified professional dog trainer, working with hundreds of owners across Tennessee.
Her CPDT-KA certification means she’s held to the same standards as clinical behaviourists. When she says a harness is escape-proof or a GPS tracker has accurate real-time location, that comes from field testing — not a spec sheet.
She expanded into cat accessories in 2023 after her two cats (Mochi and Pumpkin) became unofficial product testers. The cat section now covers GPS trackers, furniture, and food with the same methodology as dogs.
